SC/ST CELL
Since SC/ST groups are the most disadvantaged groups in the society, college decided to constitute the SC/ST cell for their welfare. The cell was inaugurated by honorable additional district judge Sh. Sanjeev Kumar on the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The SC/ST cell aims at redressal of the grievances of these communities. It ensures the implementation of guidelines on reservation policy issued from time to time by UGC and Delhi University.
The cell also ensures implementation of reservation in admission for SC/ST students. The SC/ST cell organised a lecture on thoughts and philosophy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on 14th April 2016. The lecture was delivered by honorable A.D.J Shri Sanjeev Kumar and Dr. Himanshu Roy, Associate Professor. The cell continuously interacts with members of teaching and non-teaching staff belonging to SC/ST communities and tries to resolve their grievances.
