Delhi College of Arts & Commerce has a well established Job Placement Cell which has been functioning for the last three years. It is headed by Dr.Neeru Kapoor, who is an Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce. Due to the consistent and diligent efforts of the Principal, Convenor, Non-teaching Staff and the Student volunteers, the job placement cell of DCAC is one of the best in the South Campus.

Various National and Multi-National Companies such as Google, Ernst & Young, Barclays, Capital-IQ, Evalue Serve, Genpact, IBM, ICICI Prudential, Bharti Axa Life Insurance, Max New York Life Insurance,Kingfisher Airlines and Flour Daniel have been visiting the campus regularily.

Last year the placement cell could successfully place around 100 students in all these company’s. The average pay-package last year was Rs.2.5 lakhs+ incentives.

Despite the overall recession at the national and the international levels and the decreasing job opportunities, this year we have managed to successfully place around 60 students belonging to different streams of the college in various companies such as Google, Ernst & Young, Barclays Shared Services, Genpact, IBM etc.

Some of the very good companies which have been coming to our campus regularly in the past did not turn up this year because of their resource crunch. It was a great set back to us. But we hope next year will bring more job opportunities for our students. Our efforts to provide them with the best are going on.
